Listening to: From the Choirgirl Hotel. Not for long, though... it's not really matching my mood quite like I was expecting it too.

Currently Reading: Just barely started Jonathan Lethem's Gun, With Occasional Music. Kind of saving it for the train, as well as a stack of others (both fiction and non). Also, I recently read Laurie Notaro's I Love Everybody (and Other Atrocious Lies): True Tales of a Loudmouth Girl (again) in like two days, and peed myself laughing. Highly recommended. I also devoured The Broke Diaries by Angela Nissel in, like, a mere few days. Laughed until I peed. Also highly recommended.

Wishing: income. Lots of it. Other than that, life's pretty good.

I couldn't be more The current mood of ronkc@diaryland.com at www.imood.com right now.

Kant-sequences

(I'm scribbling this out in my Ethics class. If you're reading this, I have typed it later.)

Okay.

So I just did my Kant presentation. It was such a short section, that my "group" was me. All by myself. I had explained some of my anxieties to my professor, though, who was very helpful and faced the class with me. Once I stopped talking, though, that was kind of it. But she kept talking, so it didn't feel appropriate to sit down, and I hadn't brought a chair with me to the front of the class in which to sit after having had presented. So I stood for the whole damned thing.

It lasted roughly an hour.

It was really akward, standing in front of class saying nothing, for sixty minutes.

I hate class presentations. No one ever gets anything out of them. They're boring and valueless. Unless you value anxiety.

I think I'm beginning to like my Ethics teacher. She can be corny sometimes, sure. But whe is going out of her way to help me out academically, which is really very nice of her. If we grow to be close friends, I'm going to get her some collagen lip injections, (her lips are really thin), and we're going to feed her a lot and do her hair and make-up. We'll see how it goes.
