Listening to: From the Choirgirl Hotel. Not for long, though... it's not really matching my mood quite like I was expecting it too.

Currently Reading: Just barely started Jonathan Lethem's Gun, With Occasional Music. Kind of saving it for the train, as well as a stack of others (both fiction and non). Also, I recently read Laurie Notaro's I Love Everybody (and Other Atrocious Lies): True Tales of a Loudmouth Girl (again) in like two days, and peed myself laughing. Highly recommended. I also devoured The Broke Diaries by Angela Nissel in, like, a mere few days. Laughed until I peed. Also highly recommended.

Wishing: income. Lots of it. Other than that, life's pretty good.

An Ode To Abigail

Okay.

I just got to Theology class. I'm sick and gross and I hope I get better soon.

I couldn't find my glasses this morning when I woke up. Not to save my life. It was terrifying. I thought I might have to go to class blind. I almost cried. And then I found the bitches. They were on the floor next to my bed. A miracle I didn't step on the bitches. Thank goodness for eyesight.

So, Abigail wrote a very touching diary entry, and I was mentioned, and quite moved. So, here's my ode to her.

Abigail. My god. Where to go with this. You are a fixture in my life, and I can't possibly imagine doing it without you. Bagels and donuts in Ms. Williams' class, making fun of people in Swartz's class, chorus. You gave me so much. The gift of Tori, your music, your love and friendship. Rides to school (both Hondas, the bug, the beamer), all of my cars were deathtraps. It's amazing we're still alive! Remember when I hit the dumpster with you and David in the back seat? HA! I remember being so comfortable with you, having so much fun. Loving life, youth, freedom. Discussing our problems, discussing the world's problems. Dinner at the Taqueria, movies, crafting a pink kimono with silvery-purple butterflies on it. We laughed until we cried, and cried until we laughed again. We'll share those times again soon. And I can't wait.
