Listening to: From the Choirgirl Hotel. Not for long, though... it's not really matching my mood quite like I was expecting it too.

Currently Reading: Just barely started Jonathan Lethem's Gun, With Occasional Music. Kind of saving it for the train, as well as a stack of others (both fiction and non). Also, I recently read Laurie Notaro's I Love Everybody (and Other Atrocious Lies): True Tales of a Loudmouth Girl (again) in like two days, and peed myself laughing. Highly recommended. I also devoured The Broke Diaries by Angela Nissel in, like, a mere few days. Laughed until I peed. Also highly recommended.

Wishing: income. Lots of it. Other than that, life's pretty good.

I couldn't be more The current mood of ronkc@diaryland.com at www.imood.com right now.

Melting Like I'm Fondue.

Okay.

So, last night, Miss Megan came home from Belize. The plan was for a million of us to go to the airport, dressed in nice clothes, and when she stepped out, her boyfriend would give her a red rose, Ben would start playing the guitar, and everyone would grab a partner and slowdance.

I had no partner.

HOWEVER-- I've been emailing/chatting with this one guy. Who I think likes me a lot. So, I asked him if he wanted to go. He got off work a little late, so we didn't make it for the dancing. But everyone got to meet each other. Everyone was pooped, but it was still a good time.

Afterwards, Matt (the guy) and I went out for a drink (or two). It went extremely well. He drove me home, and before I got out of the car, he says, in his most casual and adorable voice, "Here- real quick..." And pulled me in for a kiss. Long. Deep. Perfect.

SO hot. I came upstairs and melted into a nice hot bathtub, completely floored. Honestly, dear reader, that has never happened to me before.

Let's hope this one sticks, eh kids?

In other news, I lined up three job interviews yesterday. Quite easily one of the best days of my life.
