Listening to: From the Choirgirl Hotel. Not for long, though... it's not really matching my mood quite like I was expecting it too.

Currently Reading: Just barely started Jonathan Lethem's Gun, With Occasional Music. Kind of saving it for the train, as well as a stack of others (both fiction and non). Also, I recently read Laurie Notaro's I Love Everybody (and Other Atrocious Lies): True Tales of a Loudmouth Girl (again) in like two days, and peed myself laughing. Highly recommended. I also devoured The Broke Diaries by Angela Nissel in, like, a mere few days. Laughed until I peed. Also highly recommended.

Wishing: income. Lots of it. Other than that, life's pretty good.

Stuck to the Floor.

Okay.

I totally need to start waking up earlier. If I could just understand that when I very first wake up, I would be totally fine. Even if I got up, took my pills and hit snooze a couple of times, I think I would be okay. But whatever. I'm getting by.

So I have an appointment with Dr. Psychiatrist in Friday, and an appointment with Dr. Used-To-Be-My-Psychiatrist-Before-I-Left-Home on Thursday. She's still my Mom's doctor, and Mom was telling her about my medical dilema(s). Dr. explained that she thought that she had some ideas which my current doctors hadn't seem to come up with yet, so I should have a phone appointment with her, so we can chat and she could call my doctors and stuff like this.

I really hope this goes somewhere.

Okay. I have a really big issue. Remember when I spilled cranberry juice all over everything? Well, the entire area of my carpet next to my bed is now sticky. I need to fix that. The only solution I can come up with is some inventive process involving baking soda, where I sprinkle it on the floor and then vacuum what hasn't neutralized the sticky. Any other ideas? Please let me know by emailing me at [email protected]. Thanks. I'll be here waiting. Stuck to my floor. Ugh. I can't believe I did that.

Today's Smile:

After I left high school, I talked with one of the staff members with whom I was friends... She said that our former assistant principal had just had another facelift.

I inquired, "Is her skin so tight that you could bounce quarters off it?"

She replied, "No, it looks more like she's going to bite you."
