Listening to: From the Choirgirl Hotel. Not for long, though... it's not really matching my mood quite like I was expecting it too.

Currently Reading: Just barely started Jonathan Lethem's Gun, With Occasional Music. Kind of saving it for the train, as well as a stack of others (both fiction and non). Also, I recently read Laurie Notaro's I Love Everybody (and Other Atrocious Lies): True Tales of a Loudmouth Girl (again) in like two days, and peed myself laughing. Highly recommended. I also devoured The Broke Diaries by Angela Nissel in, like, a mere few days. Laughed until I peed. Also highly recommended.

Wishing: income. Lots of it. Other than that, life's pretty good.

I couldn't be more The current mood of ronkc@diaryland.com at www.imood.com right now.

Amnesty

Okay.

Still stuck to my floor. Could someone please tell me how to get my carpet not sticky? Thanks.

So, the fire alarms never went off yesterday. Hmmmm. Anyway.

I have that phone appointment with my old shrink today. I'm interested to see how that will go....

Still upset that I can't get up. It's really getting old.

Last night after dinner, Nancy was going to go to an Amnesty International meeting, so Natalie and I decided to go with her. It was really cool! I really didn't know that much about the organisation, but it's definitely something that I find myself interested in.... We made posters to publicise the group.... Later meetings will be spend writing letters. I said that I would be interested in fund raising, since that's kind of my area... I worry, though, because, while I want to spend time making a positive difference in the world in which I live, I don't want to over-burden myself... I'm going to have to watch it.

Tomorrow's Springer episode is "Mom Dun' Stole Mah Man!" or something. I really want to see it. Apparently there's this woman who stole her gay son's lover... The son won't take him back, and the mom's husband is piiiiissed! I would like to see that....
