Listening to: From the Choirgirl Hotel. Not for long, though... it's not really matching my mood quite like I was expecting it too.

Currently Reading: Just barely started Jonathan Lethem's Gun, With Occasional Music. Kind of saving it for the train, as well as a stack of others (both fiction and non). Also, I recently read Laurie Notaro's I Love Everybody (and Other Atrocious Lies): True Tales of a Loudmouth Girl (again) in like two days, and peed myself laughing. Highly recommended. I also devoured The Broke Diaries by Angela Nissel in, like, a mere few days. Laughed until I peed. Also highly recommended.

Wishing: income. Lots of it. Other than that, life's pretty good.

I couldn't be more The current mood of ronkc@diaryland.com at www.imood.com right now.

To Market, To Market.

Okay.

So today, Jamie and I got up early and went down to the Market. We spent money. I bought a Smokey Bear bobble head doll, and some wood-block printed greeting cards. We had lunch at this cute little pasta bar. The guy said to Jamie, "Is this your boyfriend?" No. "Husband?" No. Pause. "Bookie?" To which she replied, "Pimp."

Yeeeah.

After all of that, we went to Bed, Bath and Beyond, where I spent far too much money. But I did get some new towels (which match my old ones, so I can use the old ones as backup), a new shower caddy, a pretty candle, a little massage thingy, and a bathroom cupholder. I got plenty of stuff, so it's not really any big wonder how I spent so much, but I could have sworn that the towels were on sale.

So I emailed the mother, who I hope will either give me money, or convince my grandmother to give me money. My mother also suggests that I use a laundry service which will pick up, sort, wash, fold, and deliver. I'm in. I can hardly ever bring myself to doing laundry, anyway.

So, yes. There's the recap of my weekend so far. I have not done much homework. I have not done much cleaning, laundry, vacuuming. Anything. I suck.

I have decided that I need to write to my Auntie Lil, though, because it has been a while since I've done that.

Whew!

Yeah.
