Listening to: From the Choirgirl Hotel. Not for long, though... it's not really matching my mood quite like I was expecting it too.

Currently Reading: Just barely started Jonathan Lethem's Gun, With Occasional Music. Kind of saving it for the train, as well as a stack of others (both fiction and non). Also, I recently read Laurie Notaro's I Love Everybody (and Other Atrocious Lies): True Tales of a Loudmouth Girl (again) in like two days, and peed myself laughing. Highly recommended. I also devoured The Broke Diaries by Angela Nissel in, like, a mere few days. Laughed until I peed. Also highly recommended.

Wishing: income. Lots of it. Other than that, life's pretty good.

C'est La Vie, Eh?

Okay.

So, the last time I did laundry, I simply didn't get around to folding my socks. I had to move, I had to do finals, so my socks are in a big, mismatched pile in my hamper.

This morning, though, I honestly didn't have the time to dig to try to find a match for a sock, so I looked to see if anything was clean in the sock drawer.

Yeah, no. Except for these little ankle socks, with a navy blue pom-pon on the back, presumably as a first line of defense agains Achille's Tendon injuries. So naturally, I put them on (as no one likes a torn tendon).

I got to work and saw my funniest co-worker Megan. I explained to her that this morning, I had a little sock problem, so... Then I showed her the socks.

She said, "Um, yeah. It looks like you're still having a little sock problem."

Right!

Also, I think it's worth mentioning that I had the sexiest bus driver the other day. He was mediocre looking, but really nice when I got on, and had such a sensual voice. Imagine a white Isaac Hayes or Barry White, but maybe a little more average in pitch, smoothly saying, "Next stop, James and Fourth. Seattle Municipal Building, Courthouse..." or, "Next stop, Third and Union. Metro tunnel, post office." I have no idea if this is where things actually were, but it was hot. Then, we got another driver mid-route. Ah, well. C'est la vie, eh?
