Listening to: From the Choirgirl Hotel. Not for long, though... it's not really matching my mood quite like I was expecting it too.

Currently Reading: Just barely started Jonathan Lethem's Gun, With Occasional Music. Kind of saving it for the train, as well as a stack of others (both fiction and non). Also, I recently read Laurie Notaro's I Love Everybody (and Other Atrocious Lies): True Tales of a Loudmouth Girl (again) in like two days, and peed myself laughing. Highly recommended. I also devoured The Broke Diaries by Angela Nissel in, like, a mere few days. Laughed until I peed. Also highly recommended.

Wishing: income. Lots of it. Other than that, life's pretty good.

I couldn't be more The current mood of ronkc@diaryland.com at www.imood.com right now.

Movin'

This is from this morning's psalm. One of my favorites:

"May you cling to wisdom,

for she will protect you,

and if you cherish her,

she will keep you safe."

Okay!

So I was at church all morning... I never thought I would make progress on moving today, but *SURPRISE!* I'm almost done! Almost everything is in shopping bags (since I ran out of boxes). The only things left are my calendar, fridge, computer, some last clothes and grooming things... clothes hamper, trashcan, sweeper, and shoon. OH, and my plants. I know it doesn't sound like I've made a lot of progress, but I really have. The room is looking pretty bare. Which is good!

Sad news, the lady who teaches choir here on campus lost her mother, Grace, over Labor day. Grace was getting on in years, but always came to Mass. She had to use an audio device so as to hear, and she couldn't walk, so Doc would bring her in her wheelchair, and then pick her up and set her in the pew. She won't have to do that anymore, though. Grace was a fixture at the Chapel. If you know Doc, and can spare a little energy, please send some warm, white light in her direction... She probably needs it...

Well, there are a few more little things to do down here, so I'm going to get on that. Productivity rocks!
