Listening to: From the Choirgirl Hotel. Not for long, though... it's not really matching my mood quite like I was expecting it too.

Currently Reading: Just barely started Jonathan Lethem's Gun, With Occasional Music. Kind of saving it for the train, as well as a stack of others (both fiction and non). Also, I recently read Laurie Notaro's I Love Everybody (and Other Atrocious Lies): True Tales of a Loudmouth Girl (again) in like two days, and peed myself laughing. Highly recommended. I also devoured The Broke Diaries by Angela Nissel in, like, a mere few days. Laughed until I peed. Also highly recommended.

Wishing: income. Lots of it. Other than that, life's pretty good.

Cell Phone.

Okay.

So, I had lost my cell phone in a cab. The cab driver called his own number so that when I figured out that I had lost it, I would call the numbers that were called, and would get in touch with him. So, my Mom (under whose name the phone is....) called the number, and found out that the cab driver had taken the phone to the Verizon store downtown.

Cool.

So we got in touch with them. The guy in whose posession the phone is now said that he would bring it by my building.

But hasn't.

So I have to go down there when he's working in order to pick it up.

So I called a while ago to find out if he is there today. They're not even answering their phone, though, so it looks like I'm screwed. And that I've gotten up to early for no reason...

*** Two Minutes Later***

OKAY! I just called and got through, andDerek's not working until next Monday, and no one else who works there has any idea what I'm talking about. So it looks like I'm cell-phone-free until next week. Which blows, because long distance is otherwise rather expensive....

I'm Hamlished. I need to go get my fat self some food before I go into a hunger-coma.

Oh! And for the next entry, don't let me forget to mention the modifications I've made in my romantic worldview. Buh!
