Listening to: From the Choirgirl Hotel. Not for long, though... it's not really matching my mood quite like I was expecting it too.

Currently Reading: Just barely started Jonathan Lethem's Gun, With Occasional Music. Kind of saving it for the train, as well as a stack of others (both fiction and non). Also, I recently read Laurie Notaro's I Love Everybody (and Other Atrocious Lies): True Tales of a Loudmouth Girl (again) in like two days, and peed myself laughing. Highly recommended. I also devoured The Broke Diaries by Angela Nissel in, like, a mere few days. Laughed until I peed. Also highly recommended.

Wishing: income. Lots of it. Other than that, life's pretty good.

I couldn't be more The current mood of ronkc@diaryland.com at www.imood.com right now.

Happy Boxing Day!

Okay.

First, Happy Boxing Day, everyone.

Christmas was nice. It wasn't like, open a bunch of presents, be depressed by noon. Quite the opposite, in fact. We had dinner at SkyCity. And that was all. It was very nice.

My Mother has taken to reading menus out loud. And pointing out dishes which she doesn't recognise.

My Step-father was very intrigued with the Space Needle and the Experience Music Project. He's a contracter, so non-traditional architechture makes him think. While looking at the Experience Music Project on the way to the Space Needle, he said, "Jesus Christ. This guy sure has a hard-on for angles." Please note, the EMP is curvy, but I guess they're structurally referred to as "angles." Or my Step-father was drunk.

Do you ever do that thing where you're sitting there, but for some reason, your fingernails feel dirty, despite your outstanding hygiene? And then you end up clawing nervously at your own hands for hours on end? Yeah, that's me right now.

Happy Birthday to Don yesterday. If anyone has his phone number, could you please email me? Misoula's 411 doesn't have a listing for him, and I don't know his father's name.

Thanks.

Back to clawing.
